    1. Product Introduction

     

    The PCL vertical low-expansion foam generator produced by our company is also called air foam generator, which is installed on the tank wall of the uppermost ring plate of the oil tank and is used to spray foam when the oil tank extinguishes the fire. The nozzle is sealed with a thin glass sheet (or diaphragm) and the air in the tank to prevent the oil or oil and gas in the tank from entering the foam chamber or the fire pipeline.

    PCL Vertical Low Expansion Foam Generator Selection The type and number of foam generators installed in the oil tank are determined by calculation according to the capacity of the oil tank, the type of oil stored, the size of the oil surface and the type of foam, but at least not less than two, and each has a separate fire-fighting pipeline to supply foam mixture. When the foam mixed flow supplied by the fixed fire pump of the foam fire truck passes through the generator through the conveying pipeline, air foam is formed to extinguish the oil fire.

    3. structure principle 

     

    1. The vertical low multiple air foam generator is installed vertically on the storage tank, and the operation is relatively simple.

    2. The vertical low-expansion air foam generator consists of inlet flange, foam generator body, buffer tank body and nozzle outlet flange. The foam guide plate in the storage tank has the same specifications as the horizontal foam generator and is common.

    3. The installation of vertical low-expansion air foam generator must comply with the provisions of Table 6, and the opening on the wall of the storage tank shall comply with Figure 4.and Table 5.

    4. instructions for use 

     

    1. The inlet calibration working pressure of the low-multiplier air foam generator is 0.5Mpa, which can also be 0.3It is used within the pressure range of-0.5Mpa, but the mixing amount and foam amount are changed accordingly.

    2. The fire pump water supply system can be matched with a pressure proportional mixing device or a ring pump proportional mixer to deliver air foam mixture to the generator.

    3. This generator is equipped with 3%Type and 6% type ordinary air foam liquid.

    4. In order to prevent the gas in the flammable liquid storage tank from evaporating and leaking, the sealing glass must be installed at the outlet end of the shell. The glass is engraved with fragile cracks on one side, and the mixed liquid flow pressure can be broken when it is 0.1-0.2Mpa. The frangible crack should be installed with one side facing the direction of the discharge port.

    5. The guide plate is installed on the inner wall of the storage tank to ensure that the foam tank wall drips down and smoothly covers the burning liquid surface to improve the fire extinguishing effect.

     

     

    5. installation and maintenance:  

     

    1. Assemble the guide plate on the inner wall of the storage tank first, then install the foam nozzle group and the shell group, and the cover plate should be above.

         2After the installation, carry out a foam injection test to observe whether the injected foam is normal, whether the water supply pressure of the water pump and the inlet pressure of the generator meet the requirements, whether there is leakage in the pipeline, etc., and finally install the sealing glass.

    3. The entire pipeline of the air foam generator must be unblocked, and it is necessary to check whether there is blockage. Whether the sealing glass is intact.

    4. In order to avoid and reduce the damage to the pipeline when the storage tank wall is deformed, it is best to install a metal hose of the same caliber in the inlet pipeline of the producer.
